 Well I guess its GREAT news that he is going to do what he loves doing....yes we are sad to see him go because he was the only sane, down to earth, level headed one in the shop and the best of luck to him!! I think he got out just in time before the show takes a flop!

my personal feelings is this, it must be getting on there nerves a bit now with the constant filming, i wouldnt be at all suprised if snr and jnr wouldnt be that bothered if the show came to a end, of coarse the publicity has been good for them, but they still have had to produce the goods which they have 10 out of 10, there well established now, and one thing we must not forget, disco channel aproached them, and not the other way around.... real real shame vance is gone from the show, i guess its just another chapter in the story we should all look forward to, i do hope for one they keep the show, but i do fear the worst

Good question Tom. Ive been wondering if they have been feeling bad if they know that their attitudes and bad habits had anything to do with causing them to want to leave, and if so Ive also been wondering if its painful enough for them to consider improving their ways so they wont affect people that way to where people wont leave them anymore. That must feel like a personal failure on some level to lose vin and code unless it had nothing to do with them, but I suspect it did.

only time will tell but there are people just waiting for the oppurtunity, and OCC will have those spots filled in a matter of weeks. Not saying they can replace Cody and Vinnie, and that's not very likely, but only time will tell, but the show isn't going anywhere for a few more years at least. That is for sure!~. We don't need to jump the gun yet!~.

I don't think I've ever posted here, I do peep in now and again....I loved Vinnie on the show because he always has this calm that evolved around him, and it made all the other 'madness' seem tolerable.
I wish Vinnie the best, and by other postings I see that Cody's left too. They will be missed, but I'm sure wherever they go they will leave their mark and hopefully be truly appreciated for what they do. Best of luck gentlemen!!! |

I know it's been literally AGES since I've posted here (and I miss you guys!!!) - but I knew you guys would want to know that it is true Vin AND Cody have left. Cody will be working for Vin in his shop.
Vin has found a bldg that they are fixing up and he's not missing Code cause he's with him every day. And he's definitely NOT in Florida. He said he's been busy fixing up things around the house too before he gets even busier. As far as the circumstances of their leaving, that should be left up to them to tell - if they choose to do so. His last episode will be the last one of the season. Cody made it onto the next season which they've already been filming, and will be in the first one and I can't remember if he said he would be in the second one or not. But that's it. He also wanted to make sure I was watching this week because Vanessa will be on it he said. So that will be the last time she is on there I suppose. He is VERY happy. I wish you guys could hear it in his voice. He AND his family are happy with his decision. Whatever may come of it. I know we will all miss him on the show, but I'm glad he's happy. And once he gets settled into his shop, he can set his own hours and spend some time with his family. He's looking forward to that. He says Vanessa is a little motorhead and likes to "help" her Daddy but she's still girly in ways too. I'm sure he's looking forward to the twins getting older (as most men do) so he can do more with them lol If I remember anything else I'll post it or tell Kathy. |
